Nikayla Small

Nikayla Small is a professional soccer player from Pickering, Ontario, currently playing for Toronto AFC. She began playing soccer at the age of four and has developed into one of Canada’s promising midfield talents.

In 2018, she made her debut with the Canada U15 National Team. Although selected for the U17 program, she did not participate in the U17 World Cup due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, she began her NCAA Division I career at Wake Forest University.

She was called into her first senior national team camp in 2021 and later represented Canada at the 2022 CONCACAF U20 Championship and the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

In 2025, she signed her first professional contract with Toronto AFC. Off the field, Nikayla is passionate about advocacy, leadership, and mentoring the next generation through sport and community engagement.
